Dennis Roach brings over 30 years of experience in business development and project management to Ruby Engineering. Over the course of his career, Dennis successfully led project operations for several high-growth companies including Zentropy Partners, (MRM), a leading strategy, data science, technology-based marketing agency. Prior to Zentropy, Dennis spent 8 years at Citibank working in securities markets, joining the company in 1993. As a Vice President in the Network Management group, Dennis led a variety of financial, technical, business, and operational projects in the US and EU markets. Dennis studied for a BA./MA. in Economics at Hunter College New York, participating in the Thomas Hunter Honors Program. He held various positions at both private and public companies prior to joining Citibank.
As a founding partner, Phillip Roach leads the Marine Engineering Project Planning and Management. Phil brings his extensive 30 plus years of experience in Cathodic Protection, Marine Engineering, and construction techniques to Ruby Engineering. Focused on industry improvements, customer delivery, and fluid worksite operations, Phil designs and leads customer project implementations. With a focus on best practices and integrated technologies, Phil delivers practical working solutions, that are both cost-effective and results-driven. Phil was certified as a Commercial Diver in 1986 and worked for several companies as he attended University Phil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Plymouth University in England. Following graduation, he managed commercial divers and designed/installed Cathodic Protection Systems at several companies prior to becoming a founding partner at Ruby Engineering. Phil holds certifications from NACE International (National Association of Corrosion Engineers), First Aid and CPR training, and over 30 years experience in commercial diving operations, as well as PADI Master diver certification.
