Years of ExpertiseCATHODIC PROTECTION PROJECTS
Working dock facilities are under constant stress from berthing vessels, the elements and time. Consistent maintenance is optimal to preserve structural integrity.
Movement on this marine bulkhead was identified during inspection. Installing concrete panel restraint brackets created a quick response solution to protects again further shifting and deterioration.
UNPROTECTED STEEL PIER.
Cathodic protection survey of a pier structure in Beyonne New Jersey. Our survey revealed low voltage potential readings and the need for subsequent underwater cleaning and inspection of the piers' 110-pound aluminum anodes. Cleaning and physical inspection showed 75 percent consumption 13 years after installation, and 100 percent coating losses across structures.
